GC 12 x 40DC is a reagglomerated activated carbon manufactured from a specially selected blend of coal and rinsed in demineralized water. Manufactured at an NSF/ANSI certified facility, it is suitable for drinking water and food grade applications. Its’ superior Iodine and Molasses Numbers make it especially attractive in decolorizing applications.

Caution
Wet activated carbon removes oxygen from air causing a severe hazard to worker inside carbon vessels. Confined space/low oxygen procedures should be put in place before any entry is made. Such procedures should comply with all applicable Local, State and Federal guidelines.
